The thing is, if on the Xtep kits there is a better margin for Blues rather than say on a Nike kit, then for every kit sale there will be more money going to the Blues than if it was a Nike kit - so that's a good thing, even if we would prefer a top brand making them... E.g. cost price of Xtep shirt, say £10 - Sold at £35 = £25 for the Blues cost price of Nike shirt, say £20 - Sold at £35 = £15 for the Blues And then if you sell 1000 shirts that's 25k for Blues instead of 15k - every little helps! And that's just the shirts so with everything else, it could work out at a fair bit more for the Blues, so at least our money is going to supporting the club. Okay, I'm done! |
